Posted by Greenlake homeowner We were looking to buy 600 SF of bluestone and another 300SF of concrete pavers for our landscape project. Despite the customer friendliness they claim on the website, the experience at the yard is terrible. Even the landscape designer I worked with said the contractors get the same poor attitude. I visited the stoneyard twice to see materials and ask for pricing and some installation advice. I've already narrowed down my product choice. During both vistis, employees in the yard focused on loading/unloading products. None of them greeted me let alone acknowledge I was there. Inside the trailer office, neither the employee or the owner (2nd visit) greet or acknowledge my presence. I had to tell them which product I was interested in, including quantity (hard if you're in early stages). Then they quote you a price, one product and size at a time. Stone yards typically give you a price sheet so there's more transparency. 3. They didn't ask you about your project, and share help 4. i visited it the 2nd time only because I needed a few more pieces of stone. (We decided other stone yards were more responsive and deserved our business). I was very close to wrapping up conversation and the painful purchase and felt the owner was incredibly rude to put me on hold to take the call instead of putting caller on hold and finish the transaction.I regret that I had to spend even $250 with them. Go if you want to check out what products look like and roughly prices. If you want more service and help, go somewhere else that would appreciate your business.
