My husband and I took my mother-in-law out to lunch today. She has Disease so on the days we have to take her to the doctor we make it a day out for her and let her decide what she wants to eat then that determines where we go. Today she said she wanted a good and fries so we took her to our favorite place Lone Star Café.
My husband is a big steak eater so he could get his steak and we could get a real hamburger. They make their own hamburgers and you get them cooked the way you like. I like the Willie Burger with Monterey Jack Cheese and Bacon. Not sticking to my low fat diet today.
I don't think I have ever had anything bad at Lone Star. They have a Southwestern Steak Salad that is out of this world. It's a salad with steak cut up on it and Chapotle dressing. Their Steaks are mesquite grilled.
For the sides you can get the usual baked potato or fries or you can get a big baked sweet potato with butter and brown sugar.
Before you ever get started they bring out these to die for rolls with honey butter. I've usually killed one of these before the salad gets there. So if you ever get a chance to visit Lone Star you can't go wrong with a steak or a burger. Oh, and did I mention they have killer ribs?
