Review content:
Valli is an excellent alternative to the Chicago area supermarket chains, which always have higher prices on produce and deli items, as well as a poorer selection of canned goods, especially imports. I really value the extensive bakery bread selection at Valli as well. The store can be crowded at times, as can the chains, but that can be overcome by timing visits.
I just wish they had lured a Valli Produce into the large abandoned Jewel store that was in Arlington Market, instead of deciding to turn that whole shopping center into housing and leaving us with a grossly overpriced Jewel as our only choice in central Arlington Heights.
