Review content:
Fresh peaches! There's nothing like it! Livesay's offers the opportunity to pick you own (call ahead) or buy peaches they have picked for you already. Peaches are usually available July/August and may be available earlier or later--just call them and check it out.
They are available in small baskets or by the half bushel boxes. Prices summer of 2005 were around $19/ half bushel.
Apples available during the fall and a variety of other produce throughout the year.
Look for the annual Porter Peach festival in mid-July.
