Businiess name:  Women's Resource Ctr

Review content:
I used to go thrift shopping at Women's Resource Center last year but when I came back from a long vacation they were gone! Finally I found them at their new, bigger location on US 31 South. This newer, much larger building gives WRC more elbow room yet I really didn't find much more merchandise. It seemed like it was just spread out more. I miss the "homey" feeling of the old building. The clothes were on the same round racks, nicely separated into men's, women's, children's and also by type, like dresses, pants, tops, etc. The size and price tags are not always easy to find on the garment. The prices, about the same as in the old store, are still lower than their strongest competitor, Goodwill. But I feel their selection and quantity could be improved. I'm sure they would like to have more donations to make this so. The furniture selection and supply is the strong suit of this store. Now that they have more room, they are filling it with even more furniture. Prices are average, less than brand new but more than one would pay at a rummage sale I think. I was in the store 20 minutes before closing and most of the lights were off. I couldn't find anyone to ask why. It was so dimly lit that I could barely see the non clothing department. Women's Resource Center is worth checking out if you want more than just clothing. The proceeds go to help battered women and their children. Please do stop in and help the cause.
