Review content:
One smell from the outside and there's no question this is where you need to eat. This is a great place to get a feel for Northfield's charm. Old stone walls, historical pictures of the town dot the walls, and all homemade foods from soups to salad dressings will keep you coming back. If the wait is too long (mostly when there's a function at one of the colleges or perhaps a hoppin' weekend night), there's a great lounge upstairs complete with great snacks and live music and an amazing deck with a view of the wild and scenic Cannon River. Or nestle up to the cozy bar or waiting area just around the corner. Any wait is worth it- and no french fries here- try the Tavern potatoes- they melt in your mouth! The Bovine Dunker is a must for those visiting the city of cows, colleges and contentment!
