Review content:
I know that not all McDonald's (hamburger chain) are alike in decor but when I walked into this McDonald's for a burger I was totally blown away! This "Up North Lodge" look with giant post (log) beams is so different from any other McD's I've been to. There's such a warmth in the atmosphere with the fieldstone fireplace surrounded by a classic leather sofa and stuffed leather chairs. My eyes were drawn to the moose over the mantle and the handsome antler chandelier over the coffee table with its glass top held by a large wooden bear on its back. This "living room" also boasts a glass showcase filled with artifacts of the north country. On the walls throughout the restaurant are moose and wild animal fake heads and paintings of wilderness scenes. There's more but I'll leave that for you to discover.
To find this gem go to Belleville, MI, just off I 94. Just near the exit is this McDonald's which looks just like any other on the outside. But inside you're in for a treat!
