Businiess name:  Hill High Orchards
Review by:  Josette N.
Review content:
Thanksgiving is a great time of year, and each and every Thanksgiving I call ahead to HILL HIGH ORCHARDS and order a dozen pies. They are so very tasty, with homemade crust and fresh ingredients... from their own orchard! My current favorite is the Blackberry pie, but you can't go wrong with any of their fruity selection. Located at: 35246 Harry Byrd Hwy, Round Hill, VA 20141 (540) 338-7173 Oh yeah, did I mention they are reasonably priced? That alone is worth the drive into the country! Last year, I brought these pies with me to several functions. They make great hostess gifts, and let's face it, everyone loves a good dessert. The Apple/Caramel Pie was a big hit last year... Call ahead and place your order, because around the holidays, the pies do sell out. You can find more information about this, and other delicious pie ideas, in a Washington Post Article (2004) titled: A Sweet Search for Pies That Produce Sighs http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A56125-2004Nov17.html Cheers, ~ Josette ~
