Review content:
I was not expecting a lot when we booked this, quite frankly, but our daughter-in-law wanted to go up to New England to see the changing colors of leaves. This resort was the closest I could find to where we wanted to go, Massachusetts. Our son and daughter-in-law flew in to Boston for a couple days alone, and we had a couple days alone in Rhode Island at the resort before driving up to get them so they could join us.
Everyone at the resort was so nice and helpful. The room was wonderful with a great view of the wharf that was breathtaking to wake up to and have breakfast by. We had a kitchen with everything except an oven, so we saved money by eating breakfast and some lunches and dinners there. It's walking distance of 150 shops, plus there are lots of mansions on the island to tour, a lighthouse, and Fort Adams. We took a day to drive over to Shenandoah Falls, Mass. and found it to be a charming town with a beautiful Bridge of Flowers. Leaves of various colors made it a lovely drive, stopping along the way for coffee and to explore local shops.
Our vacation turned out to be marvelous and we enjoyed the resort so much. They have a workout room, indoor/outdoor pool, DVD rentals, laundry facilities, and they booked tours for us. It was beautiful and I highly recommend it.
