Review content:
Being a hearing aid user I require frequent repairs such as simple tubing replacement for my aid. Usually I drive to my audiologist 145 miles away who has served my needs for 40 years. Traverse City has only 4 hearing aid specialists/businesses, 3 of whom I've visited and found less than satisfactory. At a friend's recommendation I decided to try Higgins. I called around to get the best price which Higgins undercut by one third. The secretary performed the fitting of the tubing on me while I was in the waiting room rather than taking me into a private room. Even though it is a minor procedure I wanted an audiologist to do this. I'm not sure I will return to Higgins. A former audiologist I knew no longer works there. There will be a time when I need more extensive care for my hearing and aid so I most likely will continue the drive to my trusted audiologist miles away.
