Review content:
I feel really bad writing a less-than-stellar review of this restaurant. We were referred to it by the lady at the local kayak rental shop. We opted out of eating at the Alderbrook restaurant so we could have my 25th birthday dinner there. The roasted garlic clove with olive oil and vinegar was a nice touch for the appetizer, but the bread was gooey and way too soft. It almost seemed as if it wasn't fully baked.
We were there on a Thursday night, and decided to try their Prime Rib special. The meat itself was very very fatty and although reasonably priced, probably not worth it. The au gratin potatoes were very runny and unappealing, and the broccoli was just that, broccoli. Very boring.
I was really disappointed because of all the rave reviews we'd heard from the locals. It made me wish we had stayed in Seattle for my birthday dinner. Dahlia Lounge anyone?
