Businiess name:  Peoples Restaurant
Review by:  Rachel G.
Review content:
I tried Peoples this past weekend because they are currently offering 50% off dinner from 4-6 pm. I thought this meant any entrée, but it was actually just chicken and vegetarian dishes...not bad really. There are loads of chicken and veggie offerings. My chicken mango curry was excellent. The spice was just right (I asked for a 4 on the spice scale), and it wasn't too greasy like curry I've had at some other Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh. My husband got the special biryani and really enjoyed that. I thought the samosas were a little over fried (really hard on the outside), but the rest of my dinner companions were raving about them. Our waitress had a lot of trouble understanding English, so it was difficult to ask any questions about the food, but it wasn't a major problem. The neighborhood (Garfield) can look a little dicey, but it's really not that bad, and once you are inside the restaurant it's easy to ignore the street outside. All in all, this place is an amazing deal. I'll definitely be going back.
