Review content:
I stopped in a few weeks ago to check out a truck that caught my eye. Fast talking sales guy....yep, they got one. Friendly...sure. Flattering....yep, he tried that on me, too. I visually looked the truck over and noticed a wet drip coming off the engine underneath. I said something about it, and he just laughed at me and said it was probably just water from the engine clean still drying. (yeah right) I insisted it wasn't water and he ran his hand to the "water" and show it to me...oil. He literally wasn't sure what to say. Of course, an oil leak of any nature isn't something I am interested in buying, so I left. Another part of our conversation was pretty interesting (before the oil episode) that I should share with you....when I told him I have a mechanic I trust and who does a thorough check on any vehicle I consider purchasing, the sales guy just laughed (again). He proceeded to tell me how he doesn't trust mechanics (except theirs, of course) and if I wanted to drive the truck to my mechanic (about 20 minutes away), he would have to come with me and my mechanic would have to allow him in the service bay while he does his inspection!! He certainly knows how to run customers away!
