If you are even in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, I recommend you check out a cute little city called Grapevine. They have a cute historic Main Street with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and even wineries. While we were there, we stopped in the visitor center and asked for a lunch recommendation. The woman there recommended Willhoite’s so we checked it out. We are sure glad we did!
It was a Sunday, so they were serving brunch (in addition to their regular menu). This was the biggest brunch I have ever seen – there was an omelet bar, waffle bar, salad bar, and then a variety of meats and side dishes including pork, chicken, biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage, mashed potatoes, etc. There was even a dessert bar with at least 3-4 different desserts plus soft serve ice cream. And for those in search of a bargain – all that was for less than $10!
The atmosphere was also very cute – the place used to be a service station, so there was seating in the “garage” and in the “store”. They also had a variety of memorabilia hanging around the place.
Last, but not least, the service was friendly and prompt! I will definitely check this place out again if I am ever in the area!
