I took my golden in for a check up and to address some minor things (skin tag on his elbow). They of course found other minor things to charge me for and gave him shots and local anethesia to remove the skin tag. I left him there for the day. The next thing I know, I get a call from the vet (Tim) saying my dog threw up and was lethargic and then right on the call, he said he went into convulsions. By the time I got there, my dog was DEAD! Tim implied that they didn't do anything to cause it and later said my dog had a tumor on his heart that HAPPENED to errupt that day and killed my dog. He kept reiterating "I don't know any reason why it would have happened today??" instead of really saying he was sorry and "maybe" my dog was under stress or something might have been administered wrong. He even got defensive (in my opinion) when I asked him if he double checked the shots to make sure they were the right dosage and medicine. Maybe my dog had a heart tumor, I don't really know, but I'm convinced (in my opinion) that something happened there and if I didn't take my dog there, he would still be alive. Bottom line, I will never use them again.
