Review content:
While working in Cedar Rapids, we recently needed a quick place to eat lunch before getting back to a presentation for which we needed to be in attendance. Naturally, we thought of stopping by the Metro Restaurant which is primarily a "Chinese" buffet, but it has so many other options as well. The Metro Restaurant is located just West of I-380 interstate off of the 33rd Avenue exit in Cedar Rapids, IA.
This restaurant has a LOT of choices. It has a salad bar, a sushi bar, as well as your other choices of both "Chinese" entrees as well as some "American" choices (pizza, onions rings, etc.) as well. When you are done with your meal, it also has a dessert area that includes soft serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream.
Needless to say, whenever I go to this restaurant, while I love the food, I always eat way too much. If you're in the Cedar Rapids area, think of going to the Metro restaurant for a quick bite (or not so quick if you have the time) to eat!
