OK I did reviews on two other pumpkin patches in the area, but the pumpkin patch at the United Methodist Church in Thibodaux is the area's original pumpkin patch.
My brother and I have been going to this pumpkin patch for 11 years now and even though we are both grown, it's still a special time for us to bring our kid brother and sister to. It's just something about picking out the perfect pumpkin here vs. the grocery store or walmart.
But wait it gets better, not only do they sell the pumpkins, but they also sell indian corn and gourds for all of your fall decorating needs.
The patch is open every saturday through October, from 10 AM til dark. Located at the church's recreation room, the adress is 1255 Canal Blvd. and will provide the children with games, pumpkin painting, crafts, story-time characters, and food.
