Review content:
Now within the last four or five years, pumpkin patches are popping up all over the area and here's one of the newer ones, but don't let thier newness have an affect on how great this one can be.
We went last year as family, we didn't purchase a pumpkin because we already had bought our pumpkin at another location, but we took the kids for the fun of it, kinda like looking for something to do for the day.
They are open every saturday during the month of October from 10-5 at the St Matthew's Episcopal School grounds. They are located in downtown Houma on Barrow St. cattecorner from the old Dupont's.
If i remember correctly last year they offered face painting, cake walks, hoola hops contests for prizes, apple bobbing, photos, story telling, games, a boutique full of great items for the season, and of course many pumpkins. Big ones, little ones, odd shaped ones, can all be found here.
I probably didn't list half of the stuff they have to do, but I can't remember any thing else, just take my word for it and get there, it's fun to be had for the whole family.
