Businiess name:  Spook Hill

.....at night. Seriously, it's the funniest thing I've come across in FL yet! The legend of Spook Hill states that some tribal chief's spirit is protecting the area from the spirit of the gator he killed -- or something like that. Here's a http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/FLLAKspook.html for some more information There's a sign that informs you of the legend. According to that legend when you stop your car at the white line (town officials painted it on the ground) and put it in neutral your car will coast uphill. My fiance and I tried several times (and so did another car), facing both uphill and downhill. The conclusion we came up with is that this legend is a bunch of bunk! It's a *very* steep hill and my car didn't coast uphill, it rolled back down the hill. The area is quite pretty though -- especially at sunset. The homes around the lake have a gorgeous view. If nothing else, Spook Hill is a fun place to "visit" just to say you visited it.
