Businiess name:  J & S Plumbing
Review by:  E. M.
Review content:
We called J&S to come out and have look at some dampness we were having. It wasn't an emergency, but they said they'd send somebody by because they're usually in the area. The plumber came by, spent about 20 minutes looking around and gave us a written estimate. He left and came back about 20 minutes or so later and told my wife she owed him $98 for the service call. She called them and they gave her the usual line about policy and was incredible rude, even belligerent about it. The plumber wouldn't leave until she paid. This isn't a way to do business. If you're going to charge for looking around and call it a service call, then be upfront about the charges. This is a thuggish way to do business.
