Review content:
This summer, my family and I drove to PA to look for properties in the Susquehanna Valley. On our way home, we made a stop a Knoebel's Grove Amusement Resort. Never being there, I had no idea what to expect. An amusement park in the middle of the woods???? HMMMMMM
Well, first, the parking was FREE. Then the admission...yep, FREE. The ride tickets were so reasonable and all day ride bracelets are available also. I felt like I had stepped back in time. Knoebel's had two carousels and let me say, they were the nicest ones I have ever seen. They looked as if they were brand new. The paint was shiny and clean and the Grand Carousel had the "grab the brass ring" game. I had never seen that before and it was so nice.
The park has two old wooden coasters and both of them were amazing. I love coasters, the wilder, the better, but these had me laughing so hard that I was crying during the whole ride.
Knoebel's has several other thrill rides and several softer rides for the little ones. My 2 year old had a blast.
There is also a very large pool with waterslides, for a small admission fee, but it is just like paying for the rides.
The food coming from the stands smelled to inviting and delicious that I had to try so hard to keep from raiding them.
Camping facilities are available right on the grounds of the park. Talk about convenience.
The employees were so friendly and courteous and the park itself was extremely clean!!! This place is my absolute most favorite amusement park ever and believe me, I am a park connoisseur.
VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
