Review content:
Brushworks is one of Houma's great instructional centers. The great thing about Brushworks is that they include children, in fact they offer classes and camps including the kids in all activities.
Brushworks offers general art classes, my kid brother attends these, the classes are geared towards 5-13 year olds and he loves em.
They also offer camps for preschool children, ages 3-4, imagine teaching that many kids art at one time, they got the patience.
The art studies that Brushworks are teaching include painting, sculpture, art history, photography (adults only, ages 15 and up), desing, printmaking, and drawing, it seems like a missed several things but for the life of me I can't remember.
They are also now teaching guitar lessons ages 10 and up. They offer lessons in electric, bass, and acoustic guitars.
The prices are reasonable for what the child is being taught and my brother feels as though he has accomplished something since he's unable to play sports. It's this kind of class that takes in all comers, now matter the physical disablities.
Oh yeah, they are located at 1463 St Charles St in Houma, right there in the Summerfield Plaza, if you are ever in Houma, stop in and you will be amazed.
