Have you heard that dogs are the newest fashion accessory? Want to get in on the fad? Then you need a Puppy Purse! The Puppy Purse is a dog carrier that slings over your shoulder. You carry your puupy around like a purse. When I first say this product at Pawprints Across Your Heart http://www.giftsforpaws.com I was very skeptical. So I decided to try the Puppy Purse out on my Rat Terrier Daisy Mae. She is about 13 pounds and took the largest size that Puppy Purse makes. I placed her paws in each of the openings and then brought the carrier up onto her back and velcroed her into the carrier. I was worried that the velcro would come undone, but is quite strong. At this point Daisy was just looking at me like, 'What in the world are you doing to me?' However she didn't struggle and when I picked up the Puppy Purse and hung it on my shoulder she just looked around and seemed intriqued by her new height. I kept her in the carrier for about 5 minutes and she remained calm and inquistive. While this test did not make me buy a Puppy Purse I did get over a lot of my apprehensions. Daisy just weighs to much to carry a round as a purse, besides she loves to run. I can see the Puppy Purse being a great accessory for people with toy breeds.
