Review content:
WOW!!!! This is an awsome field trip to take a group of children to such as school groups and summer camps. You never what is in your own backyard until you go here. You start off with a presention about the quarry and how they get the granite out including the workings of the explosion and then comes the really cool part....each child is given a plastic construction hat and you get in the car and DRIVE into the quarry pit. Yes I said into the pit and it is amazing to see. Make use you drive in low gear and take your time. One in the pit you get to get out and scavage through the "leftover" Granite rocks and you will find some beautiful rocks. The kids get to fill a plastic bag and take whatever they can carry out with them and take it home....I love this and so do the kids....a must for any age group.
