Review content:
Since I have seen many commercials for Version DSL lately, you would think that they be top of the line in internet services. Unfortunately I found this not to be the case. Thank goodness I had their services for a free trial period. I was with them for less than a week. I was on the phone with their tech people more times than I can count on both hands. I have to give them some credit though minor problems were fixed right away. Also another good thing about being a Verizon customer is that you can get 2 gigabytes of email storage instead of one.
Now that I have pointed out the good points or Verizon DSL I will tell you the bad points. These points may not be a problem for some people, but they were a problem for me. I have over 200 people in my address book. Verizon blocks their port so you can’t even send email to 30 people, because they are afraid of spam when I first called about this problem they told me to switch over to my Verizon yahoo email instead of just my plain email account so I did that. That still didn’t fix my problem. After begging and pleading for a worker to unblock the port and if they found me sending spam then to block it again. They said sorry I can’t that is our policy. I said well I am going to have to cancel my service and go back to my old provider. They told me it would take three days for them to cancel the service, but it took less than a day. So as I am writing this I am without internet services while I am waiting for my old faithful provider to configure on my computer again. Being with Version DSL was a big pain for me. I was already behind over 1100 emails. Now it is hard to tell what my email will be up to when I get back up online. I am also missing my friends at Judy’s Book. Speaking of Judy’s book I am writing this review so that others will know about the limited emails you can send why you are with them because they do not tell you this when you sign up to be a customer.
