Review content:
Blue Talon is a fun restaurant, but it is not my favorite spot for a good meal in Colonial Williamsburg. The food is good, but it is an odd mix of nice, french food and random sandwiches and french fries. The salads are excellent, and they have a nice wine selection. My other complaint is the service--we recently spent about $250 on dinner for 4, and we felt incredibly rushed. Our server never offered us dessert and put the check down about 2/3 of the way through our meal. I would suggest lunch instead of dinner.
