Businiess name:  Save A Lot
Review by:  Cathy S.
Review content:
I find myself returning to Save A Lot more and more. I'm drawn to the smaller store that saves me so much more than the big box stores. You will find basic food and non food essentials here. The aisles are clean, well lit with neat displays. There are sales here on name brand items mostly though they carry lesser known ("store") brands. The produce is pretty fresh although it varies from week to week (or whenever I shop). I also have found that one Save A Lot will have different produce than a sister store. I love the low cereal prices and ususual frozen vegetables such as my favorite "pepper stir fry". There a good selection of fresh meats, dairy, just about everything in fact. Save A Lot keeps their prices low by not bagging for you so you need to bring your own or use their empty boxes available for free. Plastic bags are available for 10 cents. There are seldom lines because the cashiers are quick, not having to bag. They accept all credit cards except American Express and Diner's Club. Cash and checks are welcome of course. Hope you'll try this store if you haven't yet.
