Businiess name:  Mark Metz Memorial Car Show
Review by:  annamarie d.
Review content:
This past weekend, September 9th, a charity car show was held at Valley Center, Bates' Nut Farm, to be precise. The Mark Metz Memorial Car Show proved to be an outright success...well over 400 cars showed up, even a helicopter dropped in to see what was going on. The guy said that he saw all these great cars and decided to drop in! We had a wonderful turn out, the weather was great, the band was a success! It was non stop action from the opening of the gate at 6am till we closed up shop at nearly 8 pm!! We had a pancake breakfast put on by the Lions Club, and a barbque at lunch. We had a fabulous auction, with lots of great prizes. But the best prize of all was the car they were auctioning off. $10 bought you a ticket and one chance at winning this fire engine red 1964 Mercury Cyclone. Over $30,000 was raised at this event...all in ticket sales. Anyone that may have gone, I thank you for your participation in this year's event!
