Review content:
I was shocked to read the review of the Sachem Public Library that was written about a year ago by member J P of Holtsville. I live in Setauket and use the Emma S. Clark Library faithfully, but since I retired about 5 years ago I have taken the time to visit over 30 of the libraries in Suffolk County. The Sachem Public Library is one of the most welcoming, well-organized, up-to-date libraries I've found. I have never been treated less than well and have spent many pleasant hours sitting in the magazine reading area, sipping a cup of hot tea, reading a good book, watching the fireplace crackle. I've even borrowed "New Books" and videos, something most other libraries don't allow. All in all, I'd rate Sachem Public Library among the top 5 libraries I've seen in Suffolk County.
