Review content:
I've lived in the neighborhood for years, and the Tribune isn't what it used to be. While it's still a timely paper, coming out every couple of weeks, the content stinks - they only have a couple of writers, and the rest is all letters to the editor and press releases. What's worse, one of the writers is also the editor, who spends most of her time editorializing for her or her publisher's personal interests and calling it "news." The paper's coverage of development along 32nd avenue - where the publisher wanted a liquor license for his own building - is just one example.
It's also not distributed as fully as it used to be, since they're trying to become subscription based. As a result, some advertisers have left, which is probably just one more obstacle to the paper being as fully staffed and high quality as it once was.
