Review content:
This is a beautiful historical house in Richmond, Texas that is available for weddings and receptions. The white house is surrounded by brick pavers and large oak trees. It has an enclosed wrap-around porch and is furnished with lovely antiques. My husband and I had both our wedding ceremony and reception at this location in 2001.
The Richmond house is priced on the average side of weddings. The nice thing about this facility is that they offer "in-house" florist, baker, and catering. It is truly a "one stop shop" for all of your wedding needs. Our ceremony was held outside in the garden area on the porch. Our reception was inside the house.
The house (both inside and out) provides some beautiful settings for your wedding pictures. The large oak trees are absolutely beautiful when lit after sunset. I would advise that this is not the site to book if you are looking for a big "party" atmosphere or something that goes late into the night. Because it is a house with rooms dividing it up, it was not really conducive to lots of dancing. And our wedding/reception only lasted from 7-10pm. Overall, it left us with some beautiful memories.
