Review content:
When you walk on downtown Delray's Atlantic Ave, you may notice a small sweet shop known as Kilwins. From inside, you may sniff a whiff of fudge, caramel, candies, and a homey aroma of waffle cones being pressed. If you are here, you may want to buy some ice cream on a hot Delray Beach day. All of the ice creams are savory and homemade, but my favorite flavor is Banana Fudge Pie. This ice cream has a true taste of banana and is loaded with ribbons of rich, dark chocolaty fudge. FYI, for people with egg allergies, a vast majority of flavors are egg-free. Scoops of ice cream here are generous. Go easy when you order because 1 scoop here equals 2-3 elsewhere. Fudge here is handmade and their Chocolate Raspberry Fudge and other fudges are beyond compare. If you want an edible souvenir other than fudge to take home, the Chocolate Breakup is the way to go as are other treats. The nice people met outside and friendly employees are an additional treat in themselves. Bon appetite!
