Review content:
When I first thought about trying Oriental Cafe several years ago, I was skeptical. It's predecessor, Peking, wasn't very good, and even though I knew the building was occupied by different owners, I almost couldn't get over the memories of bad food from before. I am so glad I got over it though, because they make the best Chinese food I've ever had.
My personal favorites are the cashew chicken and chicken chow mein. Also, their eggrolls are out of this world. If you're new to the restaurant I recommend going during the lunch buffet so you can try a few of their best dishes, order one of their lunch special plates for less than $5. I've never EVER heard anyone say anything negative about their food. And the owner/host is very friendly, and by your 3rd visit, he greets you by name.
Good prices, awesome food, friendly staff.
