Yesterday morning, my family went to Saturn of the Valley North. http://www.saturnofcolumbus.com/saturnnorth.htm We do have some experience with Saturn, as our older car (an SL-2 purchased in '02) is the same brand. We have only had one real problem with it (nothing serious), which was dealt with very timely and professionally. I must say that we chose Saturn, first and foremost because there is no haggling with the price. Whatever the sticker on the car says, is what you're going to pay for it. They don't attack like vultures there, either. Saturn- now witnessed first hand on 2 occasions- is very much like a family there. And they treat you as part of their family, not just while making your purchase, but throughout your ownership as well. We brought our two young children with us, and despite the fact our youngest was not real happy being "contained" for such a long period of time, none of the sales people complained or gave us dirty looks. They were more than accommodating. The kids received coloring books, and crayons. There were snacks, a play area, and so on. We called ahead to let them know we were coming, specifically to look at either the Saturn Vue or the Ion. Both are great cars, by the way. We looked at both models, and after some consideration, chose the VUE- which is what we orginally wanted (although the Ion is nice!). We did not opt to take a test drive (as we've been in one before), but we were lucky enough to get one with a DVD player for the kids, 3 months free of XM satelite radio, Onstar free for a year, 3 yr warranty, 3 yr road-side assistance free, cd/mp3 player, a sun & fun package (sunroof), chrome detail with roof rails, etc. **We got a great deal on this, as you currently get 10% off 2006 models (til Sept 5th), another $1,000 off the VUE (or Relay, and $500 off the ION- also til Sept 5th), and then we got percentage off with a GM discount. So that is just awesome! (Check out all their current promotions here: http://www.saturn.com/saturn/OfferController.dyn?intro=y&tab=2 ) A neat little perk as a Saturn owner. Saturn Day at the Columbus Zoo, every year! We also had our family picture taken in front of the car, and they played music, etc.. we will receive a 2007 calendar with our picture on the cover. (Jack Hannah, who works with the Columbus Zoo, owns a Saturn Sky. He keeps it at the dealership while away on "tours". It happened to be there yesterday, and it is AWESOME. Fully loaded. Here's a picture of it on display at the Zoo: http://www.saturnofcolumbus.com/sdz1.jpg If you are in the market for a car, and if you like any of the choices available to you on the Saturn website http://www.saturn.com , please consider checking them out for a test drive! And while any of the sales people there are helpful, we definately recommend working with John Filliez. He's the best! :) If you'd like to say I referred you, that would be great. LOL Check out the referral program for more details: http://www.saturnofcolumbus.com/giftform.htm ( you must register your referral before they visit one of our SATURN of COLUMBUS Retail Facilities ) $75 dollar gc!
