Review content:
Walgreens has always been a preference with my family through the generations. My experience today may be a good reason why. I had gone to Osco the last few years for prescriptions and the one closest to me closed down and despite there seeming like there’s an Osco at every single corner of the city including CVS and Walgreens, the one I needed to go to know was too out of my way.
I got an offer in the mail from Walgreens a couple months ago which I held onto until now. The offer was a $20 check to use for whatever merchandise you wanted in the store (not counting prescriptions) for changing your prescription from another pharmacy chain. Walgreens looks like they want to take advantage of the CVS/Osco take over and it looks like they are doing a great job of it. The service at the pharmacy was great, no problems with registering with them. They were at first unfamiliar with the check but the main pharmacist there knew about it and resolved that. When I came back later to pick up my prescription (a couple hours) I encountered great customer service from everyone else in the store. I bought some toys with my $20 check and one of them was supposed to be free. They didn’t ring up correctly and they apologized many times and corrected the situation within 5 minutes. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the star seems limited with some merchandise than most Walgreens.
