Review content:
"110% Authentic" or so says the sign on the outside of this comfortable family-owned Mexican restaurant. Having spent two years living in Mexico, I can assure you the claim they make is accurate. From mole to enchiladas to tamales to carne asada it feels like walking into a cafe in Mexico. The owner is very friendly and told me that "the day we get pre-prepared food from a can is the day I close this place down". They are committed to providing home-cooked meals from fresh ingredients and they don't disappoint. Prices are good and food quantity is good as well. There are a few of the Americanized options for people uncomfortable trying something authentic, but the majority of the menu is only authentic dishes. Recipes were acquired from the owner's family and friends in Michoacan and prepared to perfection before bringing them into use at the restaurant. In short, I love this place and would recommend it over any other Mexican restaurant in the area.
