Review content:
This rather large discount store offers closeout merchandise at close out prices. It can look messy at times, with the isles littered with pallets of goods, but the store is organized, clean and well lit. There is ample parking in the lot outside the store. The staff is also rather iffy, meaning if you can find someone to help you and if they have enough folks on the registers. Other than that, the staff has been mostly friendly, but the turn around in staff does not always guarantee that the person who helped you last time will be there this time.
The values will depend on what you are looking for. They do carry seasonal material, again closeouts deeply discounted. Some of it is cheaply made, reflected in the prices; other times you can find some quality items at low prices.
They also stock regular items such as plastic containers of all sizes for storage purposes, bedding, kitchen items and school supplies. This is a great place for the generic back to school items or the home office supplies at very low pricing.
They also offer a large discount furniture section. Some of the furniture is cheaply made and will not hold up to heavy use, other pieces hold up quite well. Its hard to pinpoint which will do better and you should examine the furniture to see the quality of workmanship if quality is what you are looking for here. However, if you are on a tight budget, this is the place to pickup that couch or office chair.
There is also a section of food items, which I have experimented with from time to time, as well as some health and beauty aids.
To be honest, there are some bargains to be found, sometimes quality goods. There is also some junk. This is a bargain hunters paradise if you know what you are looking for and know how to inspect it before purchase. A good deal can be had at Big Lots if you are a good shopper.
