Businiess name:  Howley's
Review by:  Amanda S.
Review content:
Howley's is a historical landmark in West Palm and now a great place to grab a bite to eat. Lunch is probably the best time to go, as they experience a lot of business during this time and the best chef is there. The decor is kitschy colorful, and just inside are your choice of table, comfy booth, or traditional bar-style counter overlooking the flat grill. The food when I went for lunch one day was fantastic.I had the country fried steak, with a side of perfectly done fresh green beans and some mashed potatoes. My friend had a delicious salad (not iceberg here!). When I went late late night (~ 2AM) it was a different story. The breakfasty eggs and hash food was not good at all, and that's hard to screw up. So maybe stick to daylight hours for food. They offer breakfast "all day and all night and late night". And with a 7 page menu, you should find something that you want! Howley's might be a good place for dinner or a late-night drink as well. They serve beer and liquor, and have some outside patio seating as well as the inside seating. It's fun to go for for the decor alone, and the style of building reminds me of the Jetsetter, farther south on Dixie.
