Businiess name:  Orcas Hotel
Review by:  Katherine S.
Review content:
Convenient location (across the street from the ferry landing), beautiful setting and views, first-rate service and excellent foods! Since the hotel is across the street from the ferry you can walk on the ferry on the most crowded ferry weekends and not do the wait. Happily there are car, moped and bicycle rentals all on Orcas, so punt the car if you wish! The setting: Victorian-era home that has three floors and a wrap-around deck. The interior decoration is authentic (without going overboard). There are many old photos of the home, nearby places and various people who lived/worked there. The views from the deck on the front of the house are of the Sound. Some bedrooms look out over the rose garden, I believe. Food: there is a wonderful café on the first floor that serves fresh-baked goodies in the morning. There is also a full service restaurant with bar. All in all, a great place to go for a get-away weekend, or longer. And, they do weddings, too. (This would be a great setting for a wedding or reunion weekend!)
