Review content:
My back is a mess, I have been told more than once that I need surgery, but having had disc decompression done on my neck several years ago, I am not inclined to have surgery done except as a last resort.
About two years ago, my back got really bad, I was in such pain that I dreaded walking, standing, or sitting. I figured that after putting it off for years surgery had become the only option, but I decided to try Chiropractic first. I did alot of research on the web regarding Reno Chiropractors and found Dr. Curtis Potts, I liked his credentials - he is the only Chiropractic Neurologist in Northern Nevada.
I was dubious about the possibility of him helping me, but after my first visit I found that I could walk much further without pain, and sitting was no longer agony. I continued to see him (and one cool thing - he will not schedule return visits unless you need them, he is not one of the chiropractors who keep you coming back 3X a week for the rest of your life) and with every visit I noticed improvement.
At one point I developed a problem with numbness in my leg and foot and Dr. Potts recognized it as a condition that he could not treat and referred me to an MD who performed 3 epidural injections which alleviated the condition.
So, if you are looking for a good chiropractor who does not try to sell you snake oil, make you spend your life's savings on adjustments that you don't need, and is smart enough to understand when to refer you to a surgeon or MD, then please check out Dr. Potts- I think you will be pleased
