Review content:
I had a gas "qualified" plumber come out to my house to install a set of gas logs & he didn't know what he was doing at all! First I was told the price would be "About $115, not much more than that"....(their exact words). When they show up they tell me it will be $171.25!!! Needing these gas logs installed, I let him TRY to install the logs....2 hours later the guy couldn't get the logs to work. He said this was the 4th set of logs purchased from lowes that he & his co workers had tried to install but couldn't. He saId they were a bad set of logs & offered to blow out the orfis valve to try & see if that would fix it for an extra $50. (I wasn't paying anyone $50 to blow in a pipe!) So then, with the logs not working, he wants payment, saying it's not his fault the logs are not working. I paid him the money after a long disagreement. The next day I called the gas company to check my gas line, turns out the genius plumber from Tim Ferguson plumbing didn't turn the valve on the logs to the proper gas supply source. He had the valve on "propane" instead of "natural gas"....He had the installation directions & everything, just didn't know what he was doing. I hope the other 3 customers he & his coworkers did this to got their money back like I did! I give them one star for giving me my money back.
