Review content:
This doctor failed to call me when my pap test showed that I was positive for HPV & High grade squamous intralepthial cells. When I had my pap with them, they told me that I would be contacted if anything was of concern with my tests. The nurse said "no news is good news with us and there is no need to call us, as we will call you". A month later when I hadn't heard, I thought I should call in and just check. The lady that answered the phone looked at my results and then asked if she could have someone call me back. 2 hours later, they called to say that I tested positive for HPV & that the HPV had caused cells to turn and that I would need a biopsy, they wanted to schedule that for three days later. Imagine if I had not called back and I had just gone back to them a year later for my yearly pap? I could have had full blown cervical cancer by then! Needless to say, I cxld my biopsy with her office, got my records and now have a new Gyn who immediately scheduled me for conization surgery. This surgery and biopsy were done yesterday and I will have results back next week. Horrible, horrible experience with this doctor's office. And to my surprise, 2 days later, I received a certified letter from this doctor stating that she would no longer be able to provide me with future care. She screws up and then sends me a certified letter that she will no longer offer me treatment? Amazing.......not sure why she would think I would return to her after this anyway. My advice...find another doctor ladies!
