If you are looking for brand items, dry goods, etc. this is a good choice, because they have low prices. They don't, however, have a great selection of anything and their produce is not high quality. The checkout system is a little behind the times and there's never enough staff. I usually end up waiting in line for quite a long time, especially considering there's usually not very many people there. If you're in a hurry, go somewhere else. If you're close by and don't want to go somewhere else, Allen's will be fine. I think this store only stays alive because, there are no other grocery stores in the vicinity.
