Review content:
This is a great place to take little ones for camping and swimming in the same location. It is located in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan on the shore of St. Mary's River.
Sherman Park located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan is for more rustic camping and contains the city's only public beach. They have playground equipment for the children along with paths in the woods for all ages to enjoy the nature of Michigan's Upper Penisula.
The have outhouses for restrooms which are kept in pretty clean shape, and a pavilian that can be rented.
I have camped here with my children a few times, and although you have to put your food in airtight containers or in your vehichle at night so that hungry critters do not visit your campsight, it is a very pleasant place. The campsights are of generous size and the public beach is within walking distance of the campsight.
I highly recommend this place as reasonably priced for the amount of time spent with your family and activities that are available.
