Businiess name:  Silver Comet Fountain
Review by:  Dave J.
Review content:
Located on Floyd Road in the Mableton/Austell area, the Silver Comet Fountain offers coffee shop drinks, as well as sodas and various energy drinks, and free wi-fi, as well. The Fountain is located a few seconds off the Silver Comet trail, and is actually connected via a small paved path. The Fountain is connected to Paradise Watergardens, and in fact, features a water garden inside the coffee shop. Interior decor is simple, country-ish designs. The proprietor, Amy, told me that when her and her husband built the Fountain, they wanted to lend a North Carolina mountain-country feel to the place, which they've managed to do quite nicely. There is even a log cabin facade in one corner of the shop, which doubles as a stage for a nifty jazz combo that plays there about once every two weeks, usually on a Saturday night. Lest I forget, the bathroom sink is actually a stone basin with a waterfall for the faucet. The coffee is very good, as are the cookies. The only gripe I had is the cappucino taste is a little inconsistent. Other than that, the Silver Comet Fountain is a great place to while away some time.
