The Picture People is the place for you! Since I have two daughters, I am slowly making my way around the Photography Studio circuit. I have never been so impressed! The studio only opened 4 months ago but the buzz is getting out! When I entered there were instant smiles among the employees- ie they enjoy working there! She asked a few times what I had in mind, I was ready to have fun. My daughter is 22 months old. They have a contest going on until mid September of 2006 so I decided to give them a try. The photographer sat down and gave my daughter various things to hold (a slinky, a flower) and various things to sit on (a stool, a creasant moon) and she had an assistant and the three of us tried (she was being shy today) to get her to play. While she played, she took pictures. In the end, the pictures were beautiful. I'm tired of the perfect pose, smile shots. I was very impressed. She had close ups, full body shots, etc. She showed me so many pictures I was overwhelmed with what to even chose. They often run promotions to get a free picture, they don't have sitting fees and with their "program" you get free pictures too. Overall, I'm excited about this new studio and look forward to more pictures there. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but not much more so than the other studios. I hope they run package promotions to help too. It was lots of fun though!
