Businiess name:  Testy Chef Cafe
Review by:  Aileen O.
Review content:
Set alongside the Cedar River in Maple Valley, the Testy Chef Cafe are run by waitresses that have worked together for decades. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and casual. The little red building looks like it's been there for 50 years. In what looks like Grandma's converted porch, you can dine with a view of the river and native greenery. Although they do not have a kid's menu, they do have high chairs and tolerant of the kiddos. The prices are between $5-$10. Although known for the garlic burger, we were told that the breakfast is most popular. When I went, I ordered the bacon cheese garlic burger, homemade potato salad and a root beer float. If driving home from a hike at Mount Rainier on Maple Valley Highway/169, they are the red building to the right across the street from Maple Valley Market. Stop by and say,"Hi!". They open at 6am. If in a rush, they have food and espresso drive thru service.
