There comes a time in life when we need to start thinking about the quality of our loved ones lives as they grow older. Sycamore Village Assisted Living offers extraordinary Senior Care when the time is right to place a loved one that no longer can function on a daily basis alone. Sycamore Village is located in a small town in Swansea, Illinois nestled in a secluded area. Recently, I took a tour of this lovely facility and met with the Admissions Representative. She took me for a tour and it was like walking down a small downtown street. Sycamore offers a hair salon, post office, library with computer and internet, upgraded big screen tv's, ice cream parlor, game room, exercise facility, a very desirable gift shop, and much more.. Personally, I would love to buy gifts for someone there myself. The dining room reminded me of the Ritz Carlton with lovely coverings on the table and a menu of choice. The residents are allowed to choose their own time for dining. Sycamore Village resident rooms were roomy, with a refrigerator, and microwave. The decor was warm and inviting. They offer apartment, private, or semi-private rooms to fit your budget. The certified staff members are available in the community to embrace the individual members needs. Although, we don't like to think about the possibility of placing a loved one in a home, it's wonderful to know that Sycamore Village exits when the time is right.
