Businiess name:  Blue Mermaid Island Grill

Review content:
The Blue Mermaid is a Caribbean-inspired restaurant with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The choices are reasonably priced (especially for Portsmouth), and they have a variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian dishes. Their specialty is the Wood Grilled Seafood where you choose your choice of fish (swordfish, scallops, grouper, etc.), then your salsa and side dishes (garlicky mashed potatoes, grilled banana). My personal fav is the Coconut Pan Seared Cod paired with a Mango Colada. They have a full bar and a fun and friendly waitstaff. The bright, hot caribbean colors make you feel like you're in the tropics, which is great in the middle of a New England winter! Recently I took a vacation to Jamaica and whenever I want to feel like I'm there again I go to the Blue Mermaid, have a Red Stripe and listen to some Reggae music. Visit http://www.bluemermaid.com for more information and their music entertainment schedule.
