I took my daughter to this office for about two months after she was born in early '09. When she saw my daughter at the hospital, Dr. Barriga seemed very personable and knowledgeable.
Her office is a disaster. I would have an appointment and arrive at least 1/2 prior to the appointment. Not once did I get seen in less than two hours from the time of my appointment - usually more like 3. The staff was incredibly rude - and usually confused and/or uninformed.
Only once did I go to this office and Dr. Barriga herself checked my daughter. Every other time I was in there, it was a resident I had never seen before. Also, with every Dr. there (including Barriga), I was waiting HOURS for them to give my daughter a five minute once over and send me on my way. Questions or clarification was not encouraged.
Dr. Barriga *may* be a good doctor (though I can't be sure since she only saw my daughter at the hospital and ONCE at the office) but her office, the service, and the constant use of residents for patients that she is supposed to be looking after leaves much to be desired.
I could never recommend this office to anyone.
